Every April, the Montgomery community comes together for one special night — a night that proves giving back can feel like a celebration. For the fifth year in a row, the Delbert B. Madison II Foundation is proud to bring back its signature event: Denim & Sneakers: A Night of Entertainment & Giving, presented in partnership with Davis Entertainment.
What started as a heartfelt tribute to a young man who never stopped giving has grown into one of Montgomery's most anticipated community gatherings. And this year, we're turning it up.
What to Expect
Wear your best denim. Lace up your favorite sneakers. And get ready for a night packed with live music, comedy, and surprises from some seriously talented performers, including La'Ticia Ezell, Trew TheStar, DJ Ali, and P4G. The energy inside Itta Bena Southern Dining is going to be electric — and the cause behind it all makes every moment even more meaningful.
From the moment doors open at 5:30 PM to the final note of the night, this is a room full of people who believe in community, who believe in education, and who believe that one scholarship can change everything for a young person in Alabama.

The Delbert B. Madison II Foundation was built on a simple but powerful belief: that every student who has persevered through adversity deserves a shot at higher education. Since its founding, the Foundation has awarded scholarships to high school seniors across Alabama — young people who carry the same determination and spirit that defined Delbert's life.
